Whenever I'm creating something I get a real buzz
In my life so far I've had the pleasure of creating various short films of various types. The act of coming up with the project then filming and editing it into something which didn't exist before always feels really good
Something even better is when you can collaborate with other people to take your work to the next level. I've had the good luck and fortune to be working with some fantastically creative and talented people on the HDD Synth project
Mark Angus is a sound designer who I met at a SWAG event and created some outstanding mechanical HDD sound samples for this project. He's mixed the volume levels perfectly so that they're very loud and clear, allowing for all the detail and texture to be heard and enjoyed.
Ian Ball is an artist and designer who I had the pleasure of working with for many years. He's put together a series of great designs to produce as stickers for this project along the theme of Making Hard Disk Drives Loud Again!
I've made use of StickerApp's services to print a number of these in a variety of different sizes and finishes. I can't wait to see the end result!
I really want to make it special when someone buys an HDD Synth. So it'll be a boxed product with a manual and some of these awesome stickers so that people can spread the message
